From Kaho’olawe and Molokini islands to the south, across Lanai and the sunlit West Maui Mountains, to the tip of Molokai and the famous North Shore surf, the view from the Kula Lodge is something you will never forget.

Yes, the Lodges are open and operating in beautiful Upcountry Maui. Please note that while the Kula Lodge Restaurant previously experienced a fire and is not open at this time, the lodging accommodations, food truck, and general store are here to welcome our guests! The Kula Lodge property is a beloved Upcountry Maui landmark and a gateway to Haleakalā National Park, offering a peaceful place to stay while exploring the beauty of Upcountry Maui.

Kula Lodge Maui Accommodation Policies:
  • All rates are subject to state tax. Weekly rates 5% reduction for 7 nights or more.
  • Deposit policy: FULL payment required upon booking.
  • Cancellation Policy: We accept cancellations received 30 days or more prior to arrival. There are NO REFUNDS on cancellations made within 30 days of arrival.
  • A strict no-pet policy is in effect. Any pets discovered on the property will incur a penalty fee and the guest will be responsible for all related damages, including additional cleaning, repair or replacement costs.
  • Service animals are welcome at our hotel, and our no-pet policy does not apply to them. The hotel recognizes the important role service animals play in assisting guests with disabilities. As per the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), guests are responsible for the actions of their service animal. No additional fees or deposits will be charged for guests traveling with service animals. Should any damage occur to the hotel property as a result of the service animal, the guest will be responsible for the repair or replacement costs, just as any other guest would be for damages they cause. Service animals must be under the control of their handler at all times and be housebroken. In the rare event that a service animal poses a direct threat to the health or safety of others or is not housebroken, the hotel reserves the right to request its removal. However, the guest will still be welcome to remain at the hotel without the animal.
  • No Smoking inside our lodges; This is a no smoking property. Additional charges will be incurred for non-compliance.
